Marlborough – Esther M. (Gargano) Belliveau, 88, died Friday, May 13, 2016 after a long period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Edgar Belliveau, who died in 2010.

She was born in Wakefield, the daughter of the late Ceasare and Theresa (Calderaro) Gargano, and lived in Marlborough for over 20 years before moving to Tewksbury.

Mrs. Belliveau worked as a mechanical inspector for the BC Ames Company in Waltham for many years and also worked in the cafeteria for the Raytheon Corp. for a short time.

She was an organ enthusiast and became very active in LIFE, an organization that worked to spread the love of music to young children.

She is survived by two sons, David Belliveau and his wife Joanne of Tewksbury and Thomas Belliveau and his wife Tina of South Carolina; one daughter, Susan Shah and her husband Ketan of Marlborough; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 25, at 10 a.m., in the Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
