Region – Nearly 200 business and community leaders attended the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce “Grease Inspired” annual meeting celebration breakfast held May 19 at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston. The chamber honored six remarkable members, recognized members with significant milestone anniversaries as stakeholders of the organization, and introduced the newly elected officers and board of directors for 2016-17. Bette O’Reilly, assistant vice president and branch manager of Commerce Bank in Westborough, was elected as chairwoman for her second term. Presenting Sponsor Grossman Development Group helped make the event a success, along with a myriad of additional sponsors and supporters.
During the event, the soundtrack from the iconic movie “Grease” played in the background. Members of the board of directors dressed as their favorite characters from the movie and posed for photos with the attendees. Chamber members and guests participated in a fun, interactive “Grease Lightning” trivia contest and the morning culminated with a final trivia contest with the winners going home with a bottle of wine from the Corridor Nine Chamber’s special wine collection, “You’re the Wine that I Want…Ooh Ooh Honey!”
