Obit-Flag_USE-THIS-ONE4Marlborough – Charles J. Paglia died Saturday, June 11, 2016 after a short period of failing health. He was the husband of Frances (Santarpio) Paglia, to whom he was married for 60 years.

He was born in Boston, the son of the late John and Maria (Aries) Paglia, and moved to Marlborough in 1969.

Mr. Paglia was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and later worked many years as a senior project manager for the Lee Kennedy Company in Boston. He was a longtime member of the Immaculate Conception Church of Marlborough.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Charles F. Paglia and his wife Lee Ann of Lake Mary, Fla. and Christopher J. Paglia Sr. of Marlborough; four grandchildren, Christopher Jr., Matthew, Maria, and John; a sister, Ann Pomarole of Hingham; a daughter-in-law, Donna Paglia of Marlborough; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Monday, June 20, at 11 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be held Monday, June 20, from 9-10:30 a.m., in the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St., Marlborough.
