Southborough – It’s been said many times that it is a privilege to vote and in today’s highly charged political climate, those word were never truer. But, though they may want to vote, many long distance commuters are on the road before the polls open and as a result, they don’t make it to the polls. Southborough officials are determined to eliminate as many barriers as possible.
Starting with the Sept. 8 state primary, Southborough polls will now be open at 6:30 a.m. Officials are hoping this will allow those early morning commuters the chance to stop and cast their vote before heading out of town for the day.
