Clinton – David F. Colacchio, 56, died Thursday, June 16, 2016 after a short illness.

He was born in Marlborough, the son of the late John and Alice (D’Amico) Colacchio, and spent much of his life there before moving to Clinton.

He was a United States Air Force veteran and went on to work in the construction field for many different companies in many different capacities.

He is survived by two daughters, Erica Souza and her husband Kyle Pursell of Marlborough and Marissa Langley of Ashland; three brothers,John “Butch” Colacchio of Parhump, Nev., Thomas Colacchio and his wife Carol of Berlin, Stephen Colacchio, and his wife Marylynne of Marlborough; two sisters, Catherine Kyper and her husband Richard of Marlborough and Amy Smith and her husband Harlan of Marlborough; a grandson, Greyson; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Tammy Sierra and her children, Jonathan and Meagan, and her grandson, Devin.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, June 20, from 5-8 p.m., in the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St., Marlborough. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
