Southborough – Once again, Common Street was closed by the Southborough Police as a longtime holiday tradition continued June 30. Young patrons of the Southborough Library and their family members participated in the annual Fourth of July parade, wearing star-spangled accessories while waving American flags.
They marched up the street and walked through the Town House as Children’s Librarian Kim Ivers carried a CD recorder playing patriotic tunes. The celebration continued at the library where ice cream treats were served.
