Marlborough – A symbol of Marlborough Schools’ pride now prowls the grounds at the entrance to 1Lt. Charles W. Whitcomb Middle School. On June 23, district officials dedicated a new Panther sculpture, which matches the one dedicated at the beginning of the 2015-16 school year at Marlborough High School (MHS). The sculptures – created by artist Dale Rogers in collaboration with MHS students – are the culmination of a two-year district artist-in-residence program with Rogers.

Marlborough Public Schools thanks business partner SanDisk and outgoing Superintendent Richard Langlois for their financial support of the Whitcomb sculpture.
