Southborough – Lois (Johnson) Earhart, 97, of Southborough, died Saturday, July 23, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Warren S. Earhart, who passed away in 2008.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Paine and Elizabeth (Goodman) Johnson.

In 1940 Lois earned a bachelor’s degree at Bryn Mawr and married Captain Warren Earhart in 1945 just after he returned from World War II. They moved to Ironton, Ohio, where her five children were born. In 1992, Lois and Warren moved to Southborough. She was a member of Trinity Church in Bolton, and was a woman of great faith in God.

She is survived by her five children, John Earhart of Colchester, Conn. and his friend Mary Tedd of Montreal, Ralph Earhart and his wife Susan of Charlestown, S.C., Marty Coleman and her husband Ross of Southborough, Mark Earhart of Columbus, Ohio, and Nancy Smith and her husband Rick of Hilliard, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many good friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 30, at 11 a.m., at Trinity Church,

14 Wattaquadock Hill Rd., Bolton. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
