Southborough – H. Diane Brown, 83, of Southborough, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2016 at Metro West Medical Center in Framingham. She was the wife of the late David S. Brown, who passed away in 2004.
Diane was a graduate of Framingham State College and an elementary school teacher at the Center School in Hopkinton for many years. She was also an opera singer who sang with the Boston Opera and Tanglewood Festival Chorus for over 25 years. She was an active member of the Southborough Senior Center.
She is survived by her children, D. Sperry Brown Jr. of San Jaun, J. Norris Brown of Bourne, and Kyle Brown and his wife Natalie of Ashby, and two grandchildren, Emily and David Brown.
Calling hours will be held Friday, Aug. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough, followed by a graveside service at 12:15 p.m. at Southborough Rural Cemetery, 11 Cordaville Rd.
