Shrewsbury – Theresa Mary (Grzyb) Johnson, 86, of Shrewsbury, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016 at Kindred Care and Rehabilitation in Westborough after an illness.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Aleksander and Razalija (Bialowas) Grzyb. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School and Salter Secretarial School of Worcester.
Theresa had worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant for D.A. Howe Building Supplies before she retired.
She leaves her loving family, her husband of 56 years, George E. Johnson Jr; a daughter, Jean T. Mercer and her husband Gary of Shrewsbury; a son, John L. Johnson and his wife Lisa of Northborough; two granddaughters, Danielle and Kaitlin Johnson of Northborough; a sister, Rose Urbanovitch of Paxton; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services for Theresa Wednesday, Aug. 17, at 10 a.m., in Mountain View Cemetery (Section Q), Boylston Street, Shrewsbury.
