Northborough selectmen approve new restaurant licenses

A Common Victualler License was granted to Patrick Guay, who will open Mooyah, at 10010A Shops Way. The restaurant, Guay told the board, will be a “better burger-type model” that will serve a healthier version of traditional fast foods. The Northborough store will be the first franchise in Massachusetts.

Earle Watkins, 99, of Southborough

Police chief requests Kimball Road exit be closed

Westborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon requested at the Sept. 27 Board of Selectmen meeting that the board vote to close the exit from Kimball Road onto Mill Road. He also requested that the board direct the Department of Public Works to post “Do Not Exit” signs on Kimball Road.

Francis Garden to hold fall flea market and bazaar
