Westborough – On Sept. 12 current board members and staff of the Pastoral Counseling Centers of Massachusetts (PCC) honored longtime board member, and past president, Alden Miller, for 32 years of service on the board.

Dr. Mark Booher, current board president, said that Miller was one of founding board members of PCC in Westborough. Miller was also the first president of the board and represented his church on the board, most recently Wellsprings United Methodist Church in Shrewsbury, until he and his wife Sharon moved to Florida this year. Besides his
administrative leadership, he actively supported the center at fundraisers and visiting churches and businesses asking for support for the PCC.

Miller “has been a good and faithful servant in advocating for the mission of the agency and an example for newer board members,” Booher said.

The Pastoral Counseling Center of MA, Inc., serves over 90 communities in central Mass. seeing children, adults, couples and families and is open to all. They can be reached at the main office at 508-366-4000, 7 Church St.
