Southborough – The rain forecast Oct. 30 delayed just in time for costumed kids to participate in the annual Halloween Parade. The longtime tradition is presented by the Southborough Firefighters Association. Escorted by Fire Engine 22, lots of families traveled along Main Street for several blocks.

Afterward inside the fire station while it rained outside, refreshments were available and trophies were awarded for the cutest, scariest and most original costumes in two age categories. Serving as judges were members of Girl Scout Troops 72807 and 85004.
