Hudson – Lisa Marie Lussier, 60, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016 at the Parlin Hospice facility in Wayland. She was born Oct. 11, 1956 in Binghamton, N.Y. to Robert and Joan (Pavlisak) Kenderes.

She was a 1974 graduate from Waltham High School. She married Paul Lussier on June 27, 1981 in Winchester.

She worked at McNeil Engineering in Waltham for well-over 20 years and served as the Office Manager at Advanced Appraisal in Marlborough for another 20 years.

Lisa enjoyed solving the jumble puzzles in the newspaper, playing scrabble competitively with family for many years and often winning. She spent many hours trying her luck at the penny slot machines at Twin Rivers, Foxwoods or Moehegan Casino along with a plethora of scratch tickets. Above all, she adamantly loved her dogs throughout the years.

Lisa was preceded by her parents; her brother, Robert Kenderes Jr.; and her father in-law, Ronald Joseph Lussier.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Lussier of Hudson; her sister and husband, Jeanne and Cyrus Survell of Berlin; another sister, Laura Kenderes of Weston; two nephews, Daniel Survell and Mark Lussier, along with a niece, Sarah Survell. She leaves behind her in-laws, Mark David Lussier of Springfield, Mary and James Yess of Bristol, R.I., Brian Joseph and Patricia Lussier of Terryville, Conn., along with a truckload of friends, family, and co-workers who will all miss her witty sense of humor.

A memorial service was held Nov. 6 at Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home of Hudson.

A contribution may be made in Lisa’s name to the American Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Rd., #301, Framingham, MA 01701.
