Hudson – Helen I. (Vinifsky) Kilroy, 94, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at Wingate of Sudbury after an illness. Her husband of 57 years, George D. Kilroy, passed away in 1999.
She was born in Boston, the daughter of Walter and Theresa (Volvonas) Vinifsky and had lived most of her life in Hudson.
She leaves four daughters, Maureen C. Garrity and her husband Thomas of Hudson, Karen M. Cellana and her husband Gary of North Adams, Lorraine T. Kilroy, and Susan B. Kilroy both of Hudson; a son, George M. Kilroy of Marlborough; seven grandchildren, Denise, Erin, Thomas Jr., Daniel and his wife Rebecca, Aimee, Ryan and his wife Lauren, and Lisa; and three great-grandsons, Eerie, Liam and Samuel.
The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 19, from 4-7 p.m., at the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 9 a.m., at St. Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow at Forestvale Cemetery.
