Northborough – Nancy (Hart) Maloney, 92, passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, from complications of ovarian cancer.
Nancy was born April 7, 1924, and was a lifelong resident of Northborough. She worked 27 years at the former Westborough State Hospital in the dietary department.
She was an avid bowler, and bowled in the women’s league at Sawyer’s for many years. An animal lover, she was frequently seen walking her many dogs around town.
She leaves her three children, George Maloney of Spencer, Peggy Hauck and husband Michael of Millbury, and Janet Nigosanti and her husband Michael of Ormond Beach, Fla., and daughter-in-law, Maureen Maloney of Northborough. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Adam Maloney of Weymouth and Jennifer Shaw of Minot, Maine, and her four loving great-grandchildren, Colin Simsarian of Colorado, Devin, Lane, and Cole Simsarian, and their father David Simsarian, all of Yarmouth, Maine.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough, with a service immediately following at the funeral home. Burial will be in Howard Street Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
