Shrewsbury – Nancy C. (Pratt) Woodbury Santos, 77, of Shrewsbury, died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones.
Nancy was born Nov. 18, 1939 in Hyannis. She lived in Bergenfield, N.J. before retiring to Las Vegas, Nev. in 1999 with her husband Donald Santos Sr., who predeceased her June 26, 2015. Nancy enjoyed the shows, restaurants, and games Las Vegas had to offer.
A loving mother and homemaker, Nancy was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her loving, carefree attitude.
Nancy leaves behind her children, William Woodbury of Northampton, Sharon (Woodbury) Abramo of Shrewsbury, Wade Woodbury and his wife Carol of Bergenfield, N.J., Thad K. Santos and his wife Leslie of Albrightsville, Pa., and Donald Santos Jr. of Las Vegas; a son-in-law, David Abramo of Worcester; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Leslie Pratt and his wife Marielen of Harwich; her aunt, Gladys “Auntie May” Neves of Sandwich; a niece, a nephew, and her loving dog, Baby. She was predeceased by her mother, Beatrice (Nickulas) Leonard, and a brother, Charles L. Pratt Jr.
On behalf of the family, services for Nancy were private. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel of Worcester assisted with arrangements.
