She is survived by her son, Raymond Courchaine of Marlborough; her daughter, Jeanne Stanford and her husband Rollin of Murray, Utah; her grandchildren, Danielle Teele, Nicole Lewis, Brian Courchaine, Matthew Stanford and Rachel Matheson; several great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Jeanne Plourde of Marlborough; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Paulette and Suzanne Courchaine and the sister of the late Theresa Raiano, Cecile Kemp, and J. Paul Plourde.

Claire’s family wishes to thank her physician, Dr. Michele Ricard, and her nurse practitioner, Judy Grivetti, for their expertise and professionalism, as well as the staff at Marlborough Hills Health Care Center and Coleman House in Northborough for the care and kindness Claire received.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m., at St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St., Marlborough. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beach Street, Marlborough.
