Shrewsbury – Ciriaco “Ciro” Grasso, 91, longtime Shrewsbury resident, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 in Tippett Hospice House, Needham.
He leaves two sons, Domenico Grasso and his wife Susan of Newark, Del. and Alfred Grasso and his wife Michele of Oakton, Va.; and seven grandchildren; Alessandra, Lindsay, Stephanie, Benjamin, Jacob, Elspeth & Caitlin.
Mr. Grasso was born in Ariano Irpino, Italy, son of Domenico and Nicolina (Carchia) Grasso. He worked at Worcester Knitting Co. for many years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and traveling to Italy.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m., in Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St., Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. There are no calling hours.
