Westborough – Preparations for the 300th Westborough Anniversary Celebration Grande Parade are now underway. Organizers are seeking participants to join in including residents, businesses, neighborhoods and organizations. Applications are now available online on the 300th website (www.westborough300.com), at Town Hall and at the 1717 Shoppe located in the Westborough Shopping Plaza.

A “Float Workshop” will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 17 Willow St., Saturday, Feb. 4, starting at 1 p.m.  There will be several carpenters there who will help to generate construction ideas and tips, and share some detailed “how to” instructions for building a float. This workshop is meant to provide participants with the help they may need to begin to design and construct a float.
