Southborough – Rose M. (Benware) Campbell, 98, of Southborough, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 at Beaumont skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Northborough. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald M. Campbell, who passed away in 1996. They had been married for 58 years.

Born in Charlestown, N.H., she was the daughter of the late Edward P. and Rose (Gregorie) Benware.

Rose was a sales clerk for many years for the former Jordan Marsh in Framingham. She was an avid reader and loved playing cards and games.

She enjoyed bowling with the girls from the St. Matthew League where she was a member for many years. Rose especially took pleasure spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her brother, Wilfred Benware, and her sister-in-law, Jeannette Benware, both of Claremont, N.H., and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held Friday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m., at St. Matthew Church, 26 Highland St., Southborough. Burial will follow in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.
