Southborough – Southborough Police Chief Kenneth M. Paulhus released this statement this morning:
On, 3/4/2017, at 0112 hours, Southborough Police Sergeant Sean McCarthy conducted a motor vehicle stop of a 2000 Chrysler LHS for a speeding violation in the area of Woodland and Breakneck Hill Road. The operator of the vehicle was identified as George Ocnos (age 23) of 162 Southville Road in Southborough.
Mr. Ocnos was taken in custody and charged with O.U.I. Liquor, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Speeding. Officer Brendan Campbell arrived to assist. As a result of an inventory search of the vehicle, Mr. Ocnos was subsequently charged with Possession of a Class D Drug (Marijuana), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class D Drug (Marijuana), Possession of a Class B Drug (MDMA Ecstasy), and Possession of a Counterfeit Note. The total weight of the marijuana was approximately five pounds. Digital scales, two cell phones, $830.00 dollars cash, drug packaging materials, and a counterfeit twenty dollar bill were also seized from the vehicle in relation to the charges.
Mr. Ocnos was released to appear in Westborough District Court after a Bail Hearing conducted at the Southborough Police Station.
