Francis W. Poulin, 79, of GraftonGrafton – Francis W. “Fran” Poulin, 79, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at home after a lengthy illness. His wife of 52 years, Margaret A. (Slye), passed away in 2010.

He is survived by his children, Frank W. and Robert J. Poulin and Deborah A. Poulin; his grandchildren, Joe Poulin and Spencer McAvey; great-granddaughter, Ainsley Poulin; his sister, Karen Watts and her husband David; brother, Fred Poulin and his wife Lorraine; and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Poulin. His brother, Ken Poulin, predeceased him.

Fran was born Oct. 18, 1937 in Bolton, son of the late Emily (Lueder) and Frank Poulin.

For more than 35 years, he was the owner and operator of Creeper Hill Orchards in North Grafton, where he also maintained a greenhouse following the closing of the orchard.

Fran was happiest with the simple things in life and his hard-working hands are now at rest.

All are welcome to gather with Fran’s family and friends Friday, March 31, from 5-7 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. Burial will be private.
