Marlborough rally falls short against Worcester

Marlborough – The Marlborough High School boys lacrosse team fourth quarter rally fell short as the Panthers lost to the Worcester Combined Warriors by a score of 7-5 in a game played May 8.

Marlborough trailed 3-2 at halftime before Worcester netted 3 goals in the third period, to jump out to a 6-2 lead.  Marlborough fought back with 3 goals of their own in the final period, but was unable to catch Worcester.

Marlborough falls to 5-6 on the season, while Worcester improves to 4-7.
