Hudson – David J. Senecal, 70, of Hudson, died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Nancy Senecal.

David was born Jan. 2, 1947, the son of the late Roland and Doris (Bassett) Senecal. He was born in Marlborough, where he attended local schools.

David went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Education and taught for 38 years at the Tyngsborough High School before his retirement. He taught woodworking and graphic arts and touched so many young lives during his career as an educator. After retiring, he was able to devote more time to his love of sailing on Buzzards Bay with his wife and family and had a special talent for gardening and enjoyed working and being outside. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Senecal of Queens, N.Y., and his son, Edward M. MacIntosh and his wife Jasvir of Bridgewater. He is also survived by his sister, Janet Perkins and her husband George, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 17, at 11 a.m., at St. Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, May 16, from 4-7 p.m., at Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA 01749.
