Northborough Recreation fall and winter programs

Northborough – The Northborough Recreation Department has announced its fall and winter programs. Register for these programs at www.northboroughrecreation.com.

Community events and trips include the Cornhole Tournament Sunday, Sept. 24, 1 – 3 p.m.; the 11th annual Build-A-Scarecrow Day Saturday, Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; the Northborough Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day; and a day trip to New York City Saturday, Dec. 2.

Challenger Soccer for special needs participants begins Tuesday, Sept. 19, through Tuesday, Oct. 24, and Challenger Basketball runs from Tuesday, Jan. 9, to Sunday, Feb. 18.

Other programs include vacation day and school break activities, learn to skate, toddler/preschool events, youth and teen programs, adult golf and yoga, and aquatics.
