Northampton – Carol Radzik, 66, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2017 at her home, with family and friends by her side.
She was born in Worcester to William and Jane Radzik. After attending Grafton public schools, she graduated from the University of Massachusetts and worked for the Department of Public Safety. In her last position prior to her retirement in 2015, she was the Financial and Human Resources Manager for the UMass Police Department.
Carol is survived by her sisters, Janis Oehmann of Washington, D.C., Nancy Radzik of San Francisco, Calif., and Joyce Pagonis of Tewskbury; niece Jessica Pagonis of Bethany, Conn.; and grand-niece Hadley.
Carol was the spark that pulled together many family gatherings throughout the years, providing artistic flowers, decorations, and lively conversation. She was generous with her time and talents, helping many friends with their gardening and design projects.
We will miss her greatly.
