Marlborough – Jorge L. Villatoro, 49, of Marlborough, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017 at home after an illness.

He was born in Champerico, Guatemala, the son of the late Adolfo and Elizabeth (Meono) Villatoro. He was educated in Champerico and moved to Massachusetts in 1990.

He was an auto mechanic at several area companies, including Cavicchio Greenhouses, Bullard Abrasive & Lawn Barber.

Jorge loved soccer and was devoted to his three children and two grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves two daughters, Karen E. Villatoro of Marlborough and 7-year-old Jomaries Villatoro Rosario of Hudson; a son, 8-year -ld Luis A. Villatoro of Hudson; three brothers, Hersson Villatoro of Marlborough and Ronald and Balfre Villatoro, both of Montreal, Canada; six sisters, Aracely Villatoro of Rhode Island, Rosemary Villatoro of Guatemala City, Gladys Funez of Westminster, Ruth Villatoro Mendes of Leominster, and Roselbi Villatoro and Sandra Villatoro Barrios, both of Montreal, Canada; two grandsons, Nelson and Levi Perez Villatoro, both of Marlborough; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Sept. 29, from 6-9 p.m., in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough. Burial will be held in Champerico, Guatemala.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to his family.
