Maria Andrade, 44, of HudsonHudson – Maria Andrea (Pataki) Andrade, 44, of Hudson, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017. She leaves behind her beloved husband of over 20 years, Joseph R. Andrade.

In addition to her husband, Andrea is also survived by her father, Anton Pataki; her four beautiful daughters, Christina A. Warner and her husband Ryan of Seattle, Wash., Olivia P. Andrade, Michelle P. Andrade, and Kamila P. Andrade, all of Hudson; three half-brothers in Brazil; her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Manuel Andrade and his wife Cidalia of Fitchburg, Antonio Andrade and his wife Fatima of Methuen, Beatriz R. Braga and her husband Antonio from Hudson, Francisco Andrade of Lunenburg, Anna A. Sullivan and her husband Lawrence of Marlborough and Lucia Burks and her husband Michael of Hudson, and Fatima West and her husband George of Lunenburg; her mother-in-law, Ana Andrade of Marlborough; and many nieces and nephews and great-nephews and great nieces. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Jose Da Costa Andrade; her nephew, Michael M. Andrade; and her great-niece, Victorya F. Santos.

Andrea was born Dec. 2, 1972 in Foz De Aquasul, Brazil, where she lived until she moved to New York with her family at the age of 9, and later moved to Clinton. She eventually married the love of her life, Joseph Andrade, on June 30, 1999 in Hudson, where they settled and have resided for the past 20 years.

Andrea was a warm and loving person and a devoted homemaker. She dedicated her life to caring for her husband and their four daughters, whom she adored.  She loved animals, especially their dogs “Max” and “Sunny” as well as their cat “Suki,” and she found joy in rescuing homeless pets. Andrea enjoyed making memories with her daughters, taking photographs and spending time at Old Orchard Beach in Maine. She loved the little things in life. Andrea is known by those who loved her for her unwavering faith and love for Jesus Christ.

A period of calling hours will be held Thursday, Sept. 28, from 4-7 p.m., at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 29, at 9 a.m., at Saint Michael’s Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson, followed by final committal services at Saint Michael’s Cemetery in Hudson.
