Algonquin Girls Soccer Tops Shrewsbury

Algonquin’s Jacqueline Moy and Shrewsbury’s Lauren King chase down the ball

Shrewsbury – The visiting Algonquin Regional High School girls’ soccer team blanked Shrewsbury High School by a score of 5-0, in a game played Tuesday, September 26.

Sophomore Lucy Gauvin scored two goals for Algonquin, while Sydney Carney, Grace Andrus and Olivia Mihalek each netted one.

Algonquin improved to 6-1-1 on the season with the victory, while Shrewsbury falls to 0-6-1.
