Westborough – Westborough will be holding a Special Town Meeting (STM) Monday, Oct. 16 for all registered voters. In preparation, Town Moderator John Arnold will be holding office hours in Memorial Hall in Town Hall, 34 West Main St., Tuesday, Oct. 3 from 7 – 9 p.m.
An additional session will be held in the Meeting Room of the Westborough
Public Library, 55 West Main Street, Thursday, Oct. 12 from 7-9 p.m.
Voters are encouraged to attend these office hours to learn more about the Town Meeting process and the topics that will be coming up for vote at the STM. The full warrant will be available at www.town.westborough.ma.us.
Arnold notes that “these open forums are not a substitute for the deliberations that happen at the Special Town Meeting. Instead, these meetings are intended as an informal review and discussion of what the voters can expect to act upon at the Special Town Meeting and how every voter can participate.”
The STM will be held at Westborough High School, 90 East Main St., starting at 7 p.m.
