Harold Kelley, 93, a veteran of WWII and Korean WarNorthborough – Harold J. Kelley passed away on his 93rd birthday Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017. His parting wish was to be reunited in heaven with Susanne, his wife of 60 years.

He leaves his daughter, Kathryn Kelley of Shrewsbury and Kenneth Andersen; his sister, Virginia Hatzadakis of California; his brother, Frank Kelley of Cape Coral, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born in Worcester and raised on Ball Hill in Northborough, he was the son of William and Lillie (Coons) Kelley. He lived in Shrewsbury from 1975 – 2001.

Harold worked at General Motors as a lineman for 33 years until his retirement.

Years ago, he enjoyed riding motorcycles. he loved hunting, fishing and the New England Patriots. He was a history buff.

Harold was a member of the Dudley-Gendron American Post in Sutton. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Infantry in Central Europe during WWII, as well as during the Korean War.

A private graveside service with military honors will be held privately in Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough.
