Grafton – Peter J. Carmejoole, of Grafton, passed away Monday, Sept. 25, 2017. His wife, Patricia M. (Hamill) Carmejoole, of Newton, predeceased him in death in 2010.

Born in Holland, the Netherlands, he was the only child of Professor and M. Carmejoole, both deceased.

Peter was a professional keyboard musician who toured throughout Europe for several years. Thereafter, he attended the Mercedes Benz Mechanic Institute, in Germany completing certificates as a Mercedes Benz and Porsche Specialized Sr. Mechanic. He owned Auto Meister in Sudbury for many years.

Prior to his retirement, he worked for Motor Sport Engineering, Stow. Peter once reconstructed the motor of a Porsche into the fastest production car in the U.S.

He leaves his sister in-law, Loraine J. Arrigo and her husband Charles J. of Salem MA, nephews, Charles J. Arrigo II & his wife Lauren of Treasure Island FL and daughters Arabella and Charleston, John Paul Arrigo of Arlington MA, his son Cameron Arrigo, and niece Dr. Monica L. Arrigo, of Arlington MA, wife of Dr. Julie Koskey, son Benjamin and daughter Caroline Arrigo, and many close friends.

The family will receive people at calling hours Monday, Oct. 2, from 4-7 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. He will be laid to rest Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m., from the funeral home to Pine Grove Cemetery of North Grafton.
