Shrewsbury – Whenever the Shrewsbury High School Colonials football team plays their biggest rivals, the St. John’s High School Pioneers, there is always an extra bit of excitement in the air.
The two teams are slated to face each other this Friday, Oct. 6 at SHS, at 7 p.m.
Before the game, the SHS Student Council will be holding its first ever Colonial Way Experience from 5-6:45 p.m. This will be a “tailgate festival” with over 20 booths created by SHS students, a bouncy castle, photo booth food trucks, and live music by two SHS bands, John G. Barrett and Ocean Plaza.
The festival is open to the public; tickets are $5 for kids and senior citizens and $7 for adults. (Ticket price includes admission to the game).
SHS is located at 64 Holden St.
