The puck drops here!

Worcester – Over the past two decades, local hockey fans enjoyed the opportunity to watch professional hockey in Worcester, first with the Ice Cats and then the Sharks. Each team played for approximately 10 years before disbanding. Now, fans are eagerly welcoming a new team – the Worcester Railers.

The Railers, part of the ECHL, are affiliated with the NHL’s New York Islanders.

And not only is the team ready to bring great hockey to the region, they are also committed to making a positive impact on the community with different fundraising initiatives and a foundation that has been established to support the youth and families in the greater Worcester community.
