Westborough – In September, five members of Westborough Jazzercise, the “Jazz Girls” (Pam Meoli, Asha Sherring, Darrell Potosnak, Joyce Knoll, and Donna Rozenthals) participated in the Jimmy Fund Walk. Westborough Jazzercise hosted a special class for members and non-members, raising $1,700 for the team.

Last spring, Westborough Jazzercise hosted a silent auction to raise funds for a mobile library and social gathering space for refugees in camps in northern Greece. Over $1,000 was raised to pay for books and a structure that provided much needed shade during the hot Greek summer.

At 10 a.m. on the last Sunday of every month, 18-year Jazzercise instructor and now yoga instructor, Suzi McGourty, hosts a free yoga class. A $5 donation is requested that is then donated to local charities including the Westborough Charlotte Spinney Vision Scholarship. For the holidays, cash and food donations will be sent to the Worcester Food Bank and gift cards collected for families in need.

Jazzercise in Westborough is located at 168 Milk St. For more information, call 508-733-0403 or email [email protected].
