Mr. Handyman gets the job done

Region – Mr. Handyman Central MetroWest is part of a leading national service franchise. With their office now located in Holliston, Mr. Handyman will do the job right and on time. The company was founded in 1996 and currently has five other locations in Massachusetts and franchises throughout the U.S., Canada and the UK.

President and owner Michael Campbell bought his franchise in 2005. He has earned an impressive A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Mr. Handyman is licensed, bonded and fully insured. Campbell and many of his crew members carry their Massachusetts Construction Supervisor Licenses and are Lead Certified.

“Everyone on my crew has been thoroughly vetted with background checks and are bonded so they are safe to be in your home and around your children,” Campbell said. “We have marked vans so you know who is pulling into your driveway and we don’t use subcontractors.”

Mr. Handyman’s workmanship is guaranteed and they promise to deliver a safe, worry-free experience. From furniture assembly, mailbox repair and renovating a kitchen or bathroom (drywall, tile, fixtures, cabinetry,) to floors, roofs and decks, no job is too large or too small. Their technicians are skilled craftsmen with an average of 20 years of experience.

The company vans are equipped with GPS so they can be tracked, and his crew members carry iPads to stay connected. This serves two purposes, security and efficiency which is a benefit to their customers. They have the flexibility to send a crew to attend to quick smaller jobs because they know the locations of their crews as well as the status of their jobs enabling them to easily dispatch their crews with greater efficiency.

Campbell reported that he has dedicated customer service representatives in the office Monday through Saturday to field calls so customers get a real person on the phone.

“It’s part of the battle in this industry and it sounds so simple, but it’s really a big part of the level of service we provide,” he said. “We have relationships with most of our customers, they know us.”

Mr. Handyman has enjoyed consistent business growth during their first 12 years. Last year they received Angie’s List Super Service Award and are on course to do it again this year. This illustrates why Mr. Handyman has a strong repeat customer base.

Campbell’s franchise serves over 38 towns and zip codes which encompass communities as far north as Boylston and Hudson, west to Worcester, south to Easton/Attleboro and east to Weston and Wellesley. With nine vans, they are able to travel to areas not covered by other franchises such as Worcester and handle multiple projects.
