Thank you from Spirit of Shrewsbury Festival Committee

To the Editor:

The 2017 Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival has closed out another successful celebration.  Warm weather drew crowds of near record numbers to the annual Town Expo and Craft Fair.

We give many thanks to the public, neighbors and friends, for your patronage.  Sharing and supporting the festival was done on social media, in addition to spreading the word around Shrewsbury and its surrounding areas.  Throughout the month of September, events were held which brought together the community, businesses, schools and services.  This year the festival board opened up volunteer positions to Oak and Sherwood Middle School students.  Our young town members proved responsible, trust- worthy, and over-all great assets to our amazing community.

Many thanks to all local businesses for helping us spread the word to our area neighbors.  We appreciate your support through banners and sponsorships, year after year.

The Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival board gives of themselves selflessly and endlessly.  Their volunteer job is year round. They use their spare time to give back to their community, and for that our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.
