Jorge M. Nunez, 55, of HudsonHudson – Jorge M. Nunez, “Chucha,” 55, of Hudson and formerly of Waltham, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2017 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.

He was born, raised and educated in San Andres Itzapa, Guatemala, the son of the late Jorge M. and Natividad (Garcia) Nunez. Jorge moved to Massachusetts in 1983 and owned and operated George’s Truck Tire Services in Waltham for over 20 years.

He leaves his former wife, Roxsana Y. Perez of Hudson. He was the father of two sons, George M. Nunez and his wife, Alex, and Jordan A. Nunez, all of Hudson; two daughters, Vanessa M. Ortiz and her husband, Brian, of Hudson and Stephanie R. Gonzalez and her husband, Eli, of Marlborough; three brothers, and five sisters, all of Guatemala; six grandchildren, Kaleb, Noah, Gabriel, Jacobi, Jaxon and Grayson; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Jorge was a devoted father and grandfather who loved them unconditionally and never knew how to say “No” to any of his six grandchildren.

Jorge was a hard worker who always strived to give his family the most that he could.  He was an amazing father, grandfather, and friend. Jorge had a passion for soccer. He would often share this love of the game with his children and grandsons watching games and sharing his knowledge of it. To all who knew him, he will be missed!

A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 10, at 10:30 a.m., in Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Thursday, Nov. 9, from 6-9 p.m., in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home.
