Northborough – The Dental Oasis, a new general dentistry practice, is the concept of a married couple Dr. Morad and Dr. Kotb (Dr. Nadia). Parents of a two-year-old boy and an infant girl, they offer dental care with compassion, kindness, and gentleness to families and all.

They opened their practice in May 2017, in a plaza near Wegmans. It is the first left off Shops Way, in the plaza before the Avalon apartments.

Dr. Morad said, with a smile on his face, “We have created a relaxed spa for dentistry. We want our patients to feel comfortable while they are here, and when they leave.”

Dr. Nadia, who is cheerful as well, added, “We want everyone to leave with a smile.”

The Dental Oasis offers appointments on Saturdays and Sundays.

Dr. Nadia said, “We want our patients to always find an appointment that’s convenient for them. We are flexible and accessible: available not only mornings and evenings, but also on the weekend.”

When you walk through the doors of The Dental Oasis, you’ll see their carefully designed logo on the front desk. The relaxing hammock in the center is yellow, like the color of the patients’ chairs. The three palm trees symbolize a family: mother, father, and child. At the bottom, there are blue waves in the shape of teeth, which represent relaxing water.

Jennifer Warren, the practice’s receptionist and marketing coordinator, is making connections in the community.

She said, “I’m out and about attending events such as Applefest in Northborough. The response so far has been amazing. Things are going really well. We have a very diverse group of patients.”

Both Drs. Morad and Nadia have Egyptian heritage, but they have followed very different paths.

Dr. Morad was born in Shrewsbury in 1986, while his father attended Boston University’s Medical School. The family returned to Egypt when he was 2-years-old, and also lived in Jordan and Qatar. His mother is a nurse, and his sisters graduated from medical and pharmacy school in Egypt. Dr. Morad decided that dentistry would be his track.

He graduated from a top dental school in Egypt, and started to practice there. In 2008, his entire family relocated to the United States.

Dr. Morad was accepted at New York University College of Dentistry. He graduated in 2013, and returned to Massachusetts to practice. He is certified to provide Invisalign® treatment and Nitrous Sedation, which are both offered at The Dental Oasis.

Dr. Nadia was born and raised in the United States. She grew up in Lawrence, Mass. and graduated first in her class from Merrimack College in North Andover.

Her interest in dentistry began at a young age. When she was 15 she started working as an intern in a dental practice. She continued to work there until she was 22.

She attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and graduated in 2014.

Dr. Nadia is both patient, and extremely talented with hand skills.

Drs. Morad and Nadia plan on bringing specialists into their office as they grow their practice.

The Dental Oasis accepts most forms of insurance, including MassHealth for both adults and children. Drs. Morad and Nadia are on call 24-hours with the emergency cell phone. They live 20 minutes from their office, and will provide emergency treatments.

Drs. Morad and Nadia’s story is presented in a clever cartoon-like video on the Dental Oasis website (www.dentaloasismw.com).
