SHREWSBURY – The Shrewsbury Cultural Council will distribute its largest amount of grant funding in its history this year, sending $18,768 into the community.

Before it does that, though, the council is seeking grant proposals for community-oriented arts, humanities and science programs.

Proposals are due by Friday, Oct. 15 at 11:59 p.m.

In the past, the Shrewsbury Cultural Council has funded projects like the Assabet Valley Mastersingers, Arts on the Green, Bad News Jazz & Blues Orchestra and EcoTarium Days.
