Commuters faced a rough drive as a portion of South Street, starting at the rotary, was cloed to to all traffic.
Commuters faced a rough start to their morning as South Street, starting at the rotary, wasclosed to all traffic.
The road crew wokrs on repaving down South Street toward Upton Street.
This section of South Street, right at the rotary, is given the finishing touch.
Once this section of South Street opens, drivers can expect a much smoother ride.

Entertainment throughout the day also included a couple of bands, a country-dance performance and martial arts demonstrations.
Jim Cronin, the manager of the main office of Marlborough Savings Bank, samples some chowder as one of the five judges of Chowder Fest, the popular highlight of the Heritage Festival. Twelve local eateries competed. The panel of judges picked Kennedy's Restaurant as first place. Hundreds of festival-goers voted and chose Welly's Restaurant.
