Obit Virginia SeymourMarlborough – Virginia M. (Martino) Seymour, 95, died Monday, April 14, 2014 after a long period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Paul Seymour, who died in 2011. They were married for 74 years.

She was born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Peter and Caroline (Guercio) Martino, and lived there all of her life.

Mrs. Seymour worked at the former Digital Corp. in Marlborough for many years in many different capacities. She, along with her husband, was a longtime member of the former St. Ann's Church in Marlborough. She loved to sew and cook, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by one son, Philip Seymour and his wife Sharon of Winterhaven, Fla.; two daughters, Caroline Seymour of Hudson and Frances DeCiero of Marlborough; one sister, Jennie Ward of Marlborough; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers and sisters.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St., Marlborough, followed by a funeral.??Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
