Marlborough – For a true taste of churrasco, the signature Brazilian barbecue style of grilling skewered meat over an open fire, try Labaredas Brazilian BBQ. The restaurant, on Route 20 in eastern Marlborough, has been satisfying customers’ cravings for the real thing for six years.

Westborough – Harry’s has been a local favorite since 1946, but it seems more popular than ever. Every seat was taken when I arrived with a friend on a recent weeknight to chow down on something delicious. We waited just long enough to get familiar with the special board before we were seated in a booth under a painting of a smiling clam, surrounded by families and groups of friends enjoying Harry’s classic comfort food.

Worcester – You would never guess that a place as peaceful and quiet as Grill on the Hill could be tucked away just off of Route 9 in Worcester. The restaurant, which sits on the Green Hill Golf Course, opened for the season last month. Already it’s occupied by groups of friends admiring the view and golfers relaxing after their game.

Northborough – As Yoong Tong, the popular Thai restaurant, celebrates its 12th anniversary, it also showcases the creativity of the second generation of the family who owns it. New Sittikong, the oldest of the cousins in the extended Sahasakmontri family, is the sushi chef in Northborough
