Westborough – The Westborough Historical Society will hold a tour of the redesigned c.1899 train depot, now the offices of Waterman Associates, 31 E. Main St., from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24.

Fellowship Table at Mount Olivet Sept. 24

Shrewsbury – Mount Olivet Lutheran Church is once again hosting its Fellowship Table at the North Pavilion in Dean Park in Shrewsbury Sunday, Sept. 24, beginning at 10 a.m. The Fellowship Table is an outdoor worship service and community meal.

Northborough Library to host ‘Peace Dove’ exhibit

Northborough – The Northborough Free Library, 34 Main St., will host an exhibition of posters featuring the peace dove during the month of October. These posters were created by various artists, for various organizations, in several countries, over the last 60 years.

Northborough church announces Community Fall Festival

Northborough – Church of the Nativity will hold its annual Fall Festival Saturday, Sept. 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its Northborough campus located at 45 Howard St. This annual event is loaded with fun for the whole family. The festival is open to the community and will feature cuisine from local vendors and live musical performances including the regionally renowned Assabet Valley Chamber Singers.

Architectural walking tour to visit historic Westborough neighborhood of Vintonville

Westborough – As part of Westborough’s 300th anniversary celebration, R. Christopher Noonan, historic preservationist and historic real estate specialist, will lead an architectural tour, “Vintonville: Immigrant Workers to International Business,” Saturday, Sept. 16, from 1-3 p.m.

Potluck lunch for seniors Sept. 21

Westborough – Westborough Senior Center Supporters (WSCS) will host a potluck lunch Thursday, Sept. 21, from 12-2 p.m. at the Westborough Senior Center, 4 Rogers Road. Entertainment will be provided by pianist Jim Duncan. The cost is $3. Reservations by Tuesday, Sept. 19, by calling 508-366-3000. 

‘Fill the Boot’ drive Sept. 16

Westborough – The Westborough Fire Fighters will be conducting their annual “Fill the Boot” drive Saturday, Sept. 16, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the rotary in Westborough Center. Donations will support the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

‘Spirit of Shrewsbury’ to be on display at annual festival

Shrewsbury – It’s almost time for one of the most anticipated events of the year – the Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival. This year’s festival, the 21st in its history, will feature many of the time-honored favorites throughout the weekend of Sept 23-24.

Shrewsbury – For the 13th year, the Shrewsbury Garden Club is sponsoring Scarecrows on the Common as part of the Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival.

Free screenings, flu shots at Shrewsbury Senior Center

Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Lions Club is sponsoring a free vision and hearing screening Saturday, Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Shrewsbury Senior Center, 98 Maple Ave. Optometrists from Reliant Medical and Mass. College of Pharmacy and Health Services will be performing screenings. In addition, Walmart of West Boylston will be on site providing flu immunizations Children and adults of all ages are welcome.
