I know you can’t tell by the weather outside, but SPRING MARKET is here! A recent Sunday, in blizzard conditions, I held an open house at a new listing of mine and 12 families and four agents braved the miserable weather just to see the latest listing in a popular neighborhood! I ended up with multiple offers.
The spring real estate market is here! Right now in our area the housing inventory is extremely low. Just look at the numbers for single family homes currently listed and available. Northborough only 33, Westborough just 27, and Southborough also with only 27 properties. Most towns are experiencing this shortage.

Well, the spring market appears to have started early this year, and even a few feet of snow from Nemo hasn’t stopped the buyers that are out there ready to go. Combining that with unheard of inventory shortages, and this is resulting in a wild scene, with multiple over full price bids being tossed around, just as though it were the peak of the market.
