Senior leadership, team approach leads Algonquin boys hockey team to best record in 10 years

      Region – Led by a core of nine seniors, the Algonquin Regional boys hockey team qualified for the Central Mass. Division 3 tournament for the second consecutive year and posted its best overall record - 12-7-3 - in 10 years.

Kolbe in swim for Gee-Gees
     Shrewsbury - Kevin Kolbe, a senior at the University of Ottawa, capped off a fine season in the pool by competing in the Ontario Athletic Swim championships, held at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. The four-day event ran from Feb. 4-7 and included more than a dozen teams and 500 swimmers.

Travel Team riding a wave of success
     Northborough – The Northborough fifth-grade girls basketball travel team is enjoying a season to remember. The team is 17-1 heading into play this week. Last month it captured the Acton-Boxborough February Invitational, beating Wilmington in the final.
