July 6, the Ashland Farmers’ Market will hold an Indian Cultural Day. Young musicians, singers and dancers will perform classical Indian music and dance at the music stage; kids can have their names written in Sanskrit and get a henna tattoo at the Kid’s Corner; Dr. Kumar Nochur of Ashland’s Sri Lakshmi Hindu Temple will share details of the history and cultural activities of the Temple at the Community Tent; and Chef Renita Mendonca of Seasoned and Spiced will offer tastings of delicious Indian cuisine.
