Berlin: American Red Cross blood drive

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Berlin Memorial School, 34 South St., Berlin. The drive is open to the public and residents from all surrounding towns are invited to participate.  Appointments are preferred, but walk-in donors are also welcome.  All donors will receive a complimentary Wachusett Mountain ski lift ticket, as well as be entered into a drawing to win $50 Thanksgiving dinner gift card. If you are in good health, weigh 110 pounds or more, and have not given blood in the past 56 days you may try to donate.  The American Red Cross now requires a positive ID before donating.  You must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with signed parental consent form).
