Marlborough seniors are invited on a July 3 day trip to see “OpSail Boston 2012.” The tall ships and US Naval Ships will once again parade into Historic Boston Harbor to commemorate the Unites States Navy’s action in the War of 1812.  Boston is featuring the U.S. Constitution, also known as “Old Ironsides” after British cannonballs bounced off her sides during the conflict. The trip departs for Boston at 8 a.m. from the Marlborough Senior Center, 250 Main St. On arrival, you’ll aboard the Provincetown II cruise vessel for an exciting 1-½ hour cruise to view the world’s largest sailing ships.  Returning to dockside, you’ll enjoy a visit to Quincy Market and the North End before returning home at 5 p.m. Tour cost: $62. Please call the Senior Center at 508-485-6492 to register.
